Holding my bottle like a big girl!

Eleanor has been attempting to hold her bottle by herself for awhile now, but I think she finally has it down.  When she first start trying to hold it, she didn't quite understand that the bottle had to be tilted in order for the milk to come out.  Now she has got it down!  She continues to amaze me!  I know that every time she makes some new discovery I talk about how sad it makes me and this time is no exception.  I can't help but think that she is already, at the age of 19 WEEKS, starting to need us less.  This whole "I'm a big girl and I'll hold my own bottle" thing, although it does make it easier on mommy and daddy, is depressing!  Don't get me wrong, I want her to grow up- well eventually- but why does it have to go by so fast?  Don't even get me started on the fact that she is also sitting up now- I can only handle so much at one time!

Early morning fun with Mommy! (19 weeks and 4 days)

Eleanor is such a happy baby, especially in the mornings.  She usually gets up between 4 and 6 in the morning to eat.  Although this is pretty early, she does go to sleep around 7 or 8 at night.  She usually sleeps about 8-9 hours a night, which is WONDERFUL!  Usually after she eats she falls right back to sleep, but this morning she was wide awake.  That smile makes getting up early so worth it!
