A little Christmas Eve fun before Santa comes.......

For some reason, Eleanor was wired on Christmas Eve night.  I don't think she was completely aware of what would be happening the following morning but she did not want to go to bed.  She was so playful and full of energy, as you will see in the pictures below.  Finally around 10 o'clock Daddy put her to bed.  After playing for a few minutes with her "Honey" bear she went to sleep and Mommy and Daddy got to work as Santa's little helpers.  One of my favorite things about being a Mommy is making special memories for my little girl.  I think that is one reason Christmas is so much fun; it's one of the most magical times of the year.  Merry Christmas my little angel.

Another Christmas tradition of ours is to meet at Chris's Aunt Sybile's house in Oak Grove on Christmas Eve to celebrate with the Wallace side of our family.  This is Chris's maternal grandmother's family.  This year was super special because some of the family from Georgia were able to make the trip and get together with us.  It had been a VERY  long time since they were last here, I am thinking atleast 10 years because Chris and I have been together for that long and this was the first time that I had met them.  Nanny Wallace was very excited to see everyone together.
