On August 18th, 2009 Eleanor and I went to visit some of my former coworkers at CLP McDonald's. This was the first time that they had seen Eleanor. I was happy to see nearly all of the staff; we must have picked a good day. We were hoping that we would run into Ronald McDonald but he must have been busy with a birthday party or something. It is hard to believe that it has been over 3 months since I worked there. The time has definitely flown by. My last week with them was a week and a half before Eleanor was born. I was trying to keep working but it was all I could do to last that long. I had already begun having some contractions on and off and by the end of the day I was EXHAUSTED. I have really missed the whole staff there. I worked there for over 4 years as a Human Resource Assistant and although at times it could be very stressful, these people became like family to me. They were incredibly excited to see my little munchkin and I was proud to show her off too. Unfortunately I will not be returning to CLP; I have decided to take a different career path. To my CLP family, thank you for all that you did for me and my family. You were and are truly like family to me and I will miss seeing you. Please keep in touch!

Daddy's Little Girl
Eleanor has become Daddy's Little Girl. She thinks he is incredibly funny and has started laughing at him. Both Eleanor and I think he is a wonderful daddy (I always knew he would be). Here are some photos of Eleanor with her Daddy. He is always so helpful, although he does occasionally avoid changing the dirty diapers. But I can't blame him. I love to see how his face lights up when she smiles at him. He is so smitten. He can't wait until she can run up to him and rap her little arms around his neck. We love you Daddy!
