We are off to a great start with the Summer Reading Program at the Hueytown Library. We enjoyed kicking off the festivities with a magic show from Dr. Magic. Mommy and Daddy already read to Eleanor daily with her books from home but thought that it would be a great idea for her to get acquainted with the library this summer. I hope she enjoys the library and summer reading as much as Mommy and Daddy did when they were little. I am so excited to share some of my favorite books with her! She loves reading so I am sure she will.
The program started June 6th and ended July 11th. Eleanor really enjoyed frequenting the library weekly. She looked forward to it and would often ask if it was library day. While choosing her books she would often tell me, "Mommy you gotta be quiet we in the library". Eleanor was awarded a certificate and a bag full of goodies for completing the program. Mommy is so proud of you Eleanor!
