Happy 3rd Birthday Eleanor Olivia!

Our sweet little angel is now 3 years old!  That is big girl status!  She is growing further and further away from the little 7 lb. 11 oz. baby I once held in my arms.  I have to admit that birthdays are still a little bittersweet for me.  Wow, has she grown and changed so fast!  Why does time seem to speed up when you have a child?  I sure wish it would slow down and let me savor this sweet age.

A letter to my daughter on her 3rd birthday:

Eleanor,
It is hard to believe that you are 3!  You have grown into a precious little girl that fills our hearts with more joy than we ever imagined.  You are such a blessing to your Daddy and I.  We could not have asked for a sweeter more precious angel.  You are our world.  You have grown and learned so much this last year!  You are such a sweet helper and so kind to others.  It makes us proud to see how you care for and are concerned about others.  You are so smart too.  Your teachers, Mrs. Becky and Mrs. Kay, have always said that about you.  You amaze all of us every day.  Everyone around you just adores you.  Your Daddy and I know that you are going to grow up and do so many wonderful things.   We know that God has big plans for you.  We can't wait to see the wonderful things you'll do.  We are so proud and thankful for you.  Just the sight or thought of you makes us all smile.  Not a day goes by that we do not thank God for sending you to us.  We love you very much!

Love you forever,
Mommy and Daddy
