Eleanor's First Day of "School"

Mommy had to go back to work and Eleanor had to go back to "school".  Eleanor, Mommy, and Daddy are very excited about her new "big kid' class.  She is going to learn so much this year with their new curriculum.  When I went to register Eleanor for her new class earlier in the week, I met with the Director and she showed me their new workbooks and explained what they would be working on throughout the year.  They will have so many fun activities and programs over the year.  Eleanor and her classmates will also have a graduation at the end of the year!!  We are very excited!

Eleanor did OUTSTANDING her first day back to school.  First, she insisted on carrying all of her gear from the car to the classroom.  It was quite humorous to see her with her hands full carrying her napmat, lunchbox, and backpack.  She was happy to see her friends that were in her last class and they were so sweet to her.  She gave me a big hug and pushed me away from her and sweetly said, "bye bye Mommy".  Mommy definitely had a harder time with this than she did, but I am glad that she did not cry for me because I would have lost it!  My little girl is growing up so fast!
