Eleanor's 15 month check up

On August 26th, Eleanor went for her 15 month check up.  She  is now 21 lbs. and 11 ozs. and 30 1/2 inches.  She is in the 50th percentile for height and the 35th percentile for weight.   Most days she takes two naps, one in the morning and one after lunch.  Somedays she will just take one long nap for 2-3 hours.

She is doing so many fun things now.   She is full of energy almost all day.  She loves to open and close doors, cabinets, and small drawers.  She loves climbing in her big chair and "jumping" out of it.  She is very interested in her clothes.  She loves when I open her drawers or her armoire.  Whenever I buy her something new she holds it like a baby and loves on it.  I think it won't be long before she is picking out her own outfits!  She prefers to put on her shoes without any help, although she isn't able to completely and will get mad very quickly if you try to help.  She is little Miss Independent.

Her hair has grown out to an awkward stage and I am contemplating getting her first haircut.

She is speaking over 30 words.  She uses a few phrases including "hey bella", or her favorite "I need".
We are so thankful for our little girl.  Chris and I both just stop and stare at her in amazement.
