Happy First Birthday ELEANOR OLIVIA MCKAY!

On Saturday, May 22nd, we celebrated Eleanor's first birthday at a very special place, our church pavillion. It is special to us because Daddy helped design and build it. We had over 50 family and friends there to help us celebrate, making it even more special.  We are so thankful that our church had inflatables for us to use- the kids loved them!  It worked out great to have two inflatables- one for the little kids and one for the big kids.  Thanks Daddy for all your hardwork getting those up!

Eleanor had a blast opening her presents.  I was surprised at how involved she was in opening them.  She especially liked getting the tissue paper out of the bags.  She looked so cute sitting in her Anywhere Chair opening her presents.  My sister, Leslie, got my niece one for her first birthday and she still loves it.  So, Mommy and Daddy decided that Eleanor needed one too.  (When she got home the first thing she did was climb into the chair and jump out of it!  I should have known.)

Eleanor was so funny as she tasted her first birthday cake.  At first she just played in it and then with a little help from Gran she took her first bite of icing.  She wasn't much into the cake part, but loved the icing!  When I took the cake away she was reaching and grabbing as much as she could.
 It was too funny!

Her first birthday was so special for all of us.
Thanks to everyone who helped me get it all together and came to celebrate with us!
My homemade banner turned out perfect!
