It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Posted by PicasaHere are a few of the many special Christmas decorations around the McKay house.  Each of these have their own special story.  Last year at Christmas I was about 4 months pregnant with Eleanor and Chris's mom got us the cute snow family ornament with "baby" written on my belly.  The pink Christmas tree is in Eleanor's room on top of her armoire and it is decorated with ornaments that Chris's mom bought for her last year.  The gingerbread ornament was given to me at a Christmas Bridal shower given by my CLP McDonald's family the year that Chris and I were married.  The British soldier was purchased at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, England last summer when Chris and I were there.  The snow family with the sign, "Our First Christmas" was purchased on our honeymoon in Jekyll Island, GA in 2005.  And the pink angel ornament was made from Eleanor's footprint when she was 9 weeks old.  I love looking at all of my decorations and remembering the stories behind each one.
