Easter 2015

We had so much to celebrate this Easter although we were in the hospital. It was a great day of food and fellowship with the 8QB families and nurses.  A sweet family whose son is fighting osteosarcoma, catered Taziki's and Gigi's cupcakes for the entire floor.  It was delicious and so thoughtful of them.  Eleanor enjoyed spending the day with her new friends, who are the twin daughters of that same sweet family, Katie and Elle. The girls were so sweet to include Eleanor in their Easter egg hunt and play with her toys in her room.  It warmed my heart to see her play with kids again, the first time in 3 months.  It was obvious she was having a blast!  I loved hearing her belt out in laughter, not giggles, but full out laughing hysterically at those silly, sassy little girls!  Seeing her so incredibly happy made me tear up.

There she was.  My sweet little girl who looks so different is still the same sweet girl with the same sweet laugh.  So much of this journey has been about change, I'm thankful for that reminder.

"In the multitudes of anxieties within me, your comforts delight my soul." Psalm 94:19
Thank you lord!
