The Nutcracker Ballet

The Nutcracker Ballet at Samford University's Wright Center

Eleanor and I had a great time at our very first ballet!  My mom, Aunt Susan, and cousin, Elizabeth, also joined us for George Ballantine's Nutcracker at the Wright Center.  Eleanor was very attentive and interested in the characters and especially the beautiful ballerinas.  At one point she said, "mommy, one day I'm going to do that."  My sweet girl loves dancing and I believe after watching this live ballet she has begun to love dance even more.  We were very excited to have backstage passes and were allowed to meet, talk with, and have pictures taken with the cast.  It was a very special night!
