Anniversary Trip to Nashville, TN

Chris and I had a great time celebrating our 8th anniversary in Nashville, TN. We made a visit to the famous, "Antique Archaeology" shop in downtown Nashville before arriving at our hotel Saturday afternoon. This is one of the two shops made famous by the TV show, "American Pickers".  Chris was like a kid in a candy store.  Anyone who knows him well understands his love for older, vintage items especially motorcycles and related memorabilia. He was on visual overload as he walked through the shop.

We stayed at the beautiful Opryland Hotel and enjoyed walking around the lush gardens and fun, whimsy shops.   It was so relaxing to not have any plans or agenda for a change and just enjoy being with each other!  On our way home we stopped by Andrew Jackson's Hermitage.  It was such a beautiful cool day to walk around the property and learn about one of our country's presidents.  Chris and I love visiting historical places such as this.

Even after 8 years, I love spending time with him.  He's kinda my favorite in the whole wide world!
