Happy Campers!

We love camping in the Spring especially at Tannehill State Park. There are so many fun things to do outside this time of year.  We couldn't have asked for better weather with 60 -70 degree temperatures during the day and a little cooler at night, perfect for building a cozy fire.  Eleanor enjoyed riding her bike around the camp grounds, playing at their "treehouse" playground, and visiting the historic Tannehill Ironworks or what she calls, "Mardue's castle".  Daddy and I love to read about the history of the ironworks and discuss what life must have been like for the workers and Confederate soldiers who protected it from northern troops.

One of my favorite pics...

It's always fun to ride your bike around the park.
